FAAMA Philosophy

The mainstay of the apparel industry FAAMA was inaugurated on 15th September 2003, with 8 Founder Members To day it has a membership of 41 companies with a diverse product base Estimated Direct Employment provided by these companies is over 20,000 Products manufactured by FAAMA could be categorised into 3 sub-sectors -  Fabric, Accessories, Packaging Lobby at State Level for benefit of the industry Give mutual support to link manufacturers and exporters & Strengthen business expectations & credibility Acknowledge & embrace benefits of an interdependent relationship resulting in positive gains for all members as opposed to each working independently. Continue to serve manufacturers & retailers while strengthening & safeguarding the interest of the membership with a targeted effort

FAAMA consist of a group of members with common interest who are basically indirect exporters. A non-profit making Trade Association with innovation & resilience for progress. Strength in numbers, is advocated with a clear purpose of giving a ‘voice’ to express concern Collectively choose to make the presence felt in a unique way, & a driving force to help business become part of a solution to meet the challenges of globalisation Collaborative strategy to meet a single out come Unified front to face challenges & threats A Forum to exchange views & information on emerging trends while educating those related to the industry. Membership registration as ‘Business’ rather than a individuals are far more beneficial in the long run.
